The Duke will be peddling his funked-up wares at one more, last minute show this week. As part of Club Olum, the Duke will be playing Bar Bloc in Glasgow this Thursday. Resident DJ DIRTY MARC provides the tunes from 9.30pm till 3am. It will be FREE ENTRY! [and Jagermeister, House Whisky/Vodka/Gin + Mixer, and Bottled Beer are on promo at £1.50 each]. You heard it here first. Spells will be cast and dancefloors destroyed when Marmaduke Duke play the following shows. Thursday June 29 Newcastle Carling Academy 2 Friday June 30 London Barfly (late slot) Saturday July 1 Cardiff Barfly Sunday July 2 Birmingham Bar Academy. All tickets £7 or £7.50 Bring glitter. Wear hats and headwigs and apparell. Be prepared to cut some moves. This is going to be amazing. 200 'Duke Pandemonium' sampler CDs will be randomly distributed around the country in secret places. For this mini jaunt, The Dragon and The Atmosphere will be joined by members of SUCIOPERRO all three members of BIFFY CLYRO. They will be playing songs from 'The Magnificent Duke' and the forthcoming second album in their trilogy, 'Duke Pandemonium', out in 2006 on Captains Of Industry. Bring love and spread it all around.
